CATHERINE BROADY
Music and singing have always been a part of Catherine’s life.
She has sung in all levels of school choirs, acapella choirs, other community choirs, amateur musical society performances, several performances of Messiah with the People’s Chorus of the Sydney Philharmonia at the Opera House and being part of the Celebration Singout, helping to raise funds for the music therapist at the Westmead Children’s Hospital.
When she moved to the Central Coast she needed to find a new choir. Catherine sang with the Central Coast Philharmonia for a short time, before finally chancing upon The Frantastics. She has enjoyed about 2½ years with them. Being appointed joint conductor at the beginning of 2024 has been a huge challenge but a very enjoyable one. Entertaining senior citizens has been one of her singing highlights and she is hoping to be singing with The Frantastics for many years to come.
LINDY NANKIVELL
Lindy has been accompanying choirs, vocal groups and soloists since high school, and that wasn’t yesterday.
She has enjoyed being rehearsal pianist and a member of the orchestra for many Gosford Musical Society shows over the past 40 years. She joined The Frantastics after retiring from school teaching where she was involved with many productions and performances. She thoroughly enjoys working with the Frantastics team, and the joy we bring to the community.
